In-Store Diagnostics and Repair

Laptop repair diagnostics are $50. They include

• • hard drive diagnostic test
• • Test memory (RAM)
• • Test other hardware as necessary (e.g.: Questionable graphic card)
• • Check for system errors
• • Analyze Drive for file fragmentation and correct (defragment) if necessary
• • Search for spyware
• • Search for viruses
• • Set up with anti-spyware software
• • Search for questionable issues in the startup process
• • Provide temporary 1GB backup of critical data (additional backup options available)
• • Recommend possible affordable upgrades
• • Recomend repairs that address your computer issues

We strive to complete all diagnostic tests within one to two business days.

After we complete our diagnostic tests, if your computer requires repairs we will call and inform you of additional costs for parts and/or labor.

Repair times vary widely and are often dependent on the receipt of specific repair parts.

Desktops and networking issues:

Desktop repairs are normally available only via housecall. We offer home visits for all computer repairs and networking problems for $100 per hour, with a one hour minimum. In certain situations, desktop can be picked up and dropped off by us for repair for an additional fee.
